Karina and Lewis- Wadhurst Castle

Karina and Lewis got married at stunning Wadhurst Castle, East Sussex. They really wanted a very classic English Country Garden style wedding celebrating summer with a mixed colour palette. The ceremony was set outside in the garden in front of the oak tree, and the reception was in the castle on a perfect summers day. As a backdrop for the ceremony the focal point was a free standing circle arch with flowers attached asymmetrically and small bunches of flowers lining the aisle. Simple wood slices and bud vases of flowers made a lovely rustic centre piece for the reception tables.

Working with a mix of local growers, most of the flowers used were all British grown to really create a lovely garden style with seasonal summer flowers.

Adam and Laura- The Bell in Ticehurst

Adam and Laura wanted to have a really romantic, rustic feel to their day. Laura absolutely loved roses so these were the main focal flowers in all the designs, and we used a soft colour palette of blush pinks, creams and whites with fresh, vibrant greenery. A floor standing meadow as a back drop for the ceremony and organic flowers growing across the railings at the venue were the main focal flowers to enhance key parts of the day.

The meadow then spilt onto parts to become decoration for the ends of the reception tables and bud vases and tapered candles were added onto the tables to create a really lovely, rustic tablescape.

Hannah and Slade- Pelham House

Hannah and Slade got married at the beautiful Pelham House in Lewes. To suit the art deco style building Hannah wanted a very elegant theme, classic white and green with pops of blue to tie in the grooms suits. A gorgeous mix of seasonal spring flowers with blue anemones and eryngium thistles as the colour pop with pale blue oxypetalum to add a tonal link with the whites. Lots of silvery foliage such as eucalyptus to enhance the colour palette. A focal long and low display for the reception table and tied chair flowers for the ceremony, which all then got transferred into the reception space with flowers added onto the cake and bud vases on wood slices as the table centre.

Alice and Ben- Mountfield Church

Alice and Ben got married at the beautiful Mountfield Church in Robertsbridge followed by the reception at a local restaurant. Alice loved sunflowers and wanted all the florals to be bright, bold and colourful! Using lots of seasonal British flowers all the arrangements were wild and fun with two large pedestals of flowers as the focal point for the Church. Wrist corsages for the bridesmaids and a lovely, mixed bouquet for Alice.

Amy and Luke- The Bell in Ticehurst

Amy and Luke’s summer wedding was all about colour! Bold, impactful flowers in hot pinks, oranges and yellows which really popped in the venue. A freestanding deconstructed arch was the focal point for the ceremony, which then moved to frame the entrance to the reception while the aisle meadows were added to the end of the reception tables. Simple bud vases and coloured candles were added to the reception tables to bring it all together.

Mixed flower based bouquets for the bridesmaids who wore mismatched pink dresses and a large mixed bouquet for Amy with trailing ribbons in shades of pink.
